Their time with us is a gift that we do not deserve...and one that we cannot control nor repay.  The bonds of love and companionship cannot be broken by mere physical separation....we shall meet and love again....

Jerry

Jerry passed away on 12-1-2007 after a long battle with failing kidneys and digestive issues. He was 16 years old. Jerry was loved by all who knew him and he never met anyone he didn't like. He came to my family from a friend who rescued him from an alley where local teenagers were caught throwing objects at him. Once Jerry entered my families life we were all touched by him and life as we knew it changed. Jerry was always there to offer a silly gesture or napping companion during a time of need. Jerry was the rock of my family when my mother was diagnosed with Breast Cancer in 1996 and he did not leave her side throughout the many long and painful months of radiation and chemotherapy treatments. Every time she came back home from her stays at the hospital Jerry was waiting there at the door step with a happy face and soft meow to welcome Mom back home. He spent long nights by her side watching late night TV when the illness made it hard for her to sleep. Jerry kept us all company when we mourned the loss of my mother after she lost her battle with cancer. Back then at the age of 12 going through all of this was something that I lack the words to describe. In his many years with my family he got us through the hardest times in our lives with complete unconditional love and devotion to me and my entire family. His passing touched many people deeply and the whole family is left with timeless memories of this amazing beautiful Orange cat. I thank the Lord for bring this small furry angel into me and my families life and I pray that he now rests in peace on a sunny spot in Heaven. He earned it.

Love, The entire Rutigliano Family

My beloved boy. You are with my every step. Thank you for your life.

 Letitia

Papoose was a happy, loving, belly-flopping-as-she-ran friend who suffered from a horrible adoption and finally succumbed to cancer and FIV in spite of her indomitable  spirit.  We will miss her gentle nuzzles and big, green eyes as one of our Edmonds store kitties.

Rue Corliss-Wilkins
Oct. 1, 1990 - August 20, 2005

She came to us as a rescue dog in 1996 .  She had been in a puppy mill for the
first several years of her life. It took time and patience to get her adjusted
to the world of a free dog.  She was a faithful companion, a healthy eater, and
a dedicated sunbather.  We are celebrating the nine years of fun we had together
by remembering good times such as our walks in the dog park and our times at the
ocean....and the Halloween she came dressed as a vampire - it was a costume that
only Rue could pull off.!
